SO KOKO | Song Of The Week | Naira Marley x Music By Serafu - Juru Lo

Who told you we don't do Yoruba justice here in the UK? BANGER ALERT
People tend to look at Afrobeats in the UK, as 'watered down' or in alot of cases, just poor attempts, particularly where Yoruba is concerned. But JURU LO by Naira Marley and British Fuji Star Serafu ( Music By Serafu) will curb your scepticisms! This collaboration is just what the scene needed

JURU LO is the Fuji equivalent to shake your body/bum - dance essentially! Non-Yorubas, even Non-Nigerians altogether, will appreciate these feel-good vibes regardless of any language- barriers given alot of references are english (i.e Drake -One Dance) These are Two SO KOKO Favs:

Naira Marley ( Final Freestyle, Marry Juana, Praise and Worship) collaborated with YBNL's Olamide in recent months, showing no signs of slowing down. MusicBySerafu everyone's favourite modernised AfroFuji offers the scene something different blending Gospel,Fuji and Tungba.

It's refreshing, it sounds a bit like home.
